Liar, Liar, Pants on FIRE!

Welp, Arthritis has made a liar outta me.  I recently posted an exciting baby schedule and timeline...which will now be pushed back exactly one year.  I decided I'll need to have my Master's, and all of the coinciding paper writing/typing done before I go off meds and risk some seriously painful joints. :( So for 2011 and 2012, I'll focus on being Auntie to Miss Haylie Marie, who I'm now hoping will be the best birthday present ever! So here's how I need to look at it.  The next year and a half will go by so very fast, whether I have a baby or not.  If we wait, we'll have a brand new baby in January of 2014 (we hope) instead of a "OMG how is she/he already 1 year old?!"

In completely unrelated news, Veronica Ardelle made us all very proud at her Graduation this weekend!  She was up and out of her seat playing keyboard, singing, speaking, and dancing more than she sat in it!  It's hard to believe that our baby is a High School Graduate, but I'm so excited for her new adventures!  College, not High School, was so incredibly fun and unique.  No other time in your life compares to it!  I'm looking forward to her living here this summer and for her new chapter to start this fall!  It was also great to get to feel my beautiful neice kicking and moving inside her Mama's beautiful belly!  Can't wait for that little Punkin to get here!  It's going to be a great year.

Irony, the opposite of wrinkly...

I find it extremely ironic that this blog, created for the completion of one class, could become so terribly neglected by the overload of work in the current class.  I am thisclose to finishing the icky-est class yet, and I am looking forward to a little freedom.  It's frustrating to me to spend an entire weekend, one with visits from Mom, Dad, and Ronnie, and one that Jeremy has off, tied to a computer writing a 22-page paper.  The title of this blog could also be "bitterness." I apologize to those closest to me, as I know you're dealing with a crabby, stressed, un-fun Brooke right now.  It's for the best, and I CAN do it. Okay?
Even Riley's had enough of the nonsense.  "Come on, Mom! Play with me!"
