Since I just don't get enough of the alphabet at school...

A little alphabet fun about Brooke!

A. Age: 23

B. Bed size: Queen.

C. Chore you dislike: dishes. So passionately hate dishes.  I do, however, enjoy laundry (I didn't say folding laundry) and don't mind scrubbing toilets!

D. Dogs: Just the two best boys in the world!  Our Shelties, Cody and Riley, are spoiled beyond belief, but the favor is returned!

E. Essential start to your day: Straight up the stairs to let the boys out, back down to get in the shower, back up to get a cup of coffee (with Italian Sweet Cream creamer) and let the boys in, and then into the bedroom for a, "Babe? Will you get up with me?" request from Hubby.  He always does. :)

F. Favorite color: pink, however I'm maturing into loving deep, rich purple more.  Fave color to wear is charcoal gray.

G. Gold or silver: white gold...so kind of both.

H. Height: 5′ 8" And with my so gratefully inherited Monkey-arms from Father, it's just tall enough to turn on my ceiling-mounted projector at school without the remote. This really impresses my vertically challenged coworkers :)

I. Instruments you play(ed): I played a mean Recorder in 4th grade, thankfully ressurected in my college Music Methods class, Clarinet through sophomore year, piano, keyboards for pep band, and I've dabbled with the guitar.

J. Job title: Teacher, student, wife, maid, and doggie mommy.

K. Kids: Well lucky me, my sister is birthing my daughter this July! Isn't she nice? Lol. We're hoping for the best Christmas present ever in 2012...

L. Live for ______: I live for lazy days around the house with Jeremy, snuggling with my 3 boys on Saturday mornings, phone calls with my Mom and sisters, Dad and I's late-night couch talks, Christmases with the Morgans, and escapes to the Mountains or to Sunburst.

M. Most memorable moment: Our Wedding day. Went off without a hitch and still the best day of my life yet.  I love looking at pictures to bring this amazing day "back."

N. Nicknames: Brookie, Brooklyn, Knowles(thanks, babe), and Babe, like the ox. lol

O. Overnight hospital stays: I got Mono August before my Senior year of college.  Ended up in the hospital for two nights for it.  NOT something I look forward to doing again.  Next time, I'm NOT staying alone! CoughJeremycough.

P. Pet peeves: dirty socks alll over  the floor, "those" parents, and stepping in water in my socks.  I have a foot thing.

Q. Quote from a movie: I'm not a movie quoter, but I do know almost the whole "Superstar" movie by heart.  I enjoy a quirky, odd quote so I'll pick, "I don't want to point the finger of blame, but....Who broke the good toaster?" or "Are you aware that I am rubber and you are glue, and everything that you say to me, bounces off of me and sticks to you? ...just stick that in your back pocket."

S. Siblings: Roman: Handsome, quiet, ultra-guitar-talented big brother who lives entirely too far away. (And who has an amazing Wife and a beautiful new baby girl, Skylar)
Brianna: Intelligent, strong-willed, beautiful big sister who is growing a human inside her.  Yes, Brianna, she's a human. You can gain as much weight as you want.
Ronnie: Footloose, entertaining, happy "baby" sister who grew up way too fast, but oh-so-beautiful!

T. Time you wake up: Haha. I'm not a morning person. As late as possible without looking totally unpresentable and unprofessional.  I aim to walk out the door at 7:43 am and usually wake up between 6:10 and 6:30 to get there.

U. University attended: Montana State University Billings, home of the Yellowjackets, amazing lifelong friends (Hey, Garett, thanks for marrying one of them!), dorms fit for marriage proposals, and some really great Rims for beautiful night walks. Ah, I just made myself Billings-sick!

V. Vegetables: I love veggies! Raw or cooked, I like almost all of 'em!

W. What makes you run late: my horrible decision-making on outfits.  This morning I was dressed in a khaki-colored shirt-dress, brown leggings, and some GREAT brown boots.  Then, I imagined our Engineer, an older fella who can't keep his opinions to himself, commenting on me reminding him of A. The Crocodile Hunter, or B. An overgrown girlscout.  I changed into boring khakis and an argyle cardigan. Boo.

X. X-rays you’ve had: dental X-rays and yearly X-rays on my hands and feet to track my joints and any damage they might be developing.  "Look, Mom! No joint damage!" :)

Y. Yummy food you make: Jeremy and I's favorites are Creamy Tacos, Scotcheroos, BBQ'd wings (that's kinda Jeremy's handiwork), fondue night, and I'm sorta famous for my chocolate chip cookies "Brookie's Cookies".

Z. Zoo animal favorites: We just had a writing prompt similar to this in Kindergarten today.  I shared my lifelong zoo animal favorite, dolphins, with my kiddies.  I'm fascinated by sea life!

And to spice it up: A favorite from my most memorable day! :)

Uncertain

Well It's been a while.  I've been MIA for almost 3 weeks, but it feels like MAYBE a few days have past.  Time has been flying for me and I'm not sure why.  I've been very busy, yes, but I've also had some tricky challenges at school lately.  I vowed not to write about school, so I'll just say I've had some new experiences with parents of my students.  Anyways, I'm coming off one week of freedom from my master's courses and feeling like I need about 2 more to feel fully ready.  My next class is on teaching English Language Learners and focused on the multicultural aspects of my community, district, and school.  Uhhh...this is where taking part in a Texas program becomes difficult for a Montana girl!  And I'm kicking myself because I got it in my head that I had a week of for Easter.  I don't. BOOO!  Ok, enough complaining.

Jeremy had the weekend off and we had a great time together.  We celebrated our 4 year "night-we-met" anniversary.  Seems like forever but seems so fast too.  And thanks to Brianna, Keelan, and Miss Haylie Marie, we've got a BAD case of baby fever!  So...I think we're getting on a "Trying To Conceive" (TTC) plan.  With my meds, it becomes a longer road.  This summer, I'll stop taking my Remicade and Methotrexate, as it takes at least 6 months to "detox" out of my system.  Then, I'll be on Aleve and Prednisone if I need it until the end of January.  Once I go off birth control, I'll only be able to take Prednisone and Tylenol.  I'm crossing my fingers, hoping I'm one of the lucky ones that goes into remission from the RA during pregnancy.  Then, if all goes well, and we get pregnant right away, we'll have a Thanksgiving or Christmas baby in 2012!  Can't wait to give Haylie a cousin!

Well, enough of dreamy blogland for now.  Need to go check my class and get ready for bed and a new week at school!  I hope this one goes as fast as the past few have!
TTFN!

Jeremy "cheers"ing to our delightful "Buffalo Wild Wings" dinner last night! YUMM!!
